Finding a espresso machine that makes espresso to please the most complex tastes is not as tough as it may seem. I set out to test out the very best in espresso machines and after looking long and hard I found one that I truly believe to be the best. It should come as no surprise that I chose the Nespresso C100T.
I’ve been a coffeemaker nut forever, or so it seems. Every time something new arrived on the market, I was tempted to trade in my old one, just to have that best shot of espresso. However, I am a realist and I don’t spend my cash unwisely.
So, what made me choose the Nespresso C100T? There are many factors, but mainly because it used unique technology to allow me to have more time to enjoy my coffee than standing there and fiddling with dials and calculating out the grains. In fact, this machine includes one of the most successful systems of extraction for coffee. The magnificent part of this machine is that with one touch of a button it would brew and dispense a cup of coffee that met my exact expectations.

What made me decide upon the Nespresso C100T? Well, I loved the color, titanium, (they call it titan) and the tiny test cup of espresso that the salesperson managed to make me. However, taste aside, I wanted value for money, efficiency and something that was easy to care for.

I do consider this machine to be the in the league of greatest in coffee makers. It allowed me to program my cup size and the strength of my espresso. Nespresso C100T Essenza coffee machine made exactly what I desired each and every time.
However, unlike the review that I am giving you here today, which I hope can help you choose which machine to acquire, I never looked at reviews, preferring some great old fashioned assessment and research. Nespresso has engineered a unique extraction system to be specially adapted to capsules. Well, science above all.
Without a doubt I would invest in this coffee maker again but there are a few things that aren’t exactly what I like. It tends to make a noise that sounds like a rattle or a whir when you are brewing coffee. The noise was so strange that I actually sent it back to company asking for it to be replaced. I must admit that I felt a little ridiculous when the sent it back to me and told me that this sound was totally normal and just part of the coffee making process. Safe to say, I got used to it.
Another concern that I had was that the manual had to be replaced as well. Why the machine was sold with only a French manual puzzled me. Needless to say I was lost and had to ask for a manual that was printed in English. Once again the great customer service came to the rescue and quickly supplied me with an English manual.
The last problem that I had was a chilly cup of espresso. I was totally shocked to find my brew to be as chilly as ice. Of course, it helps to study the manual, once I had it in English, which describes exactly how to operate the machine to get the water hot. Silly me, eh?
And, they have learned from early mistakes. Currently, Nespresso C100T espresso maker comes with easy to read and thorough English manual.
All in all, The Nespresso C100T is a good little coffee and espresso maker. It is easy to use, easy to clean and very quick to produce a single cup of boiling hot coffee that I can enjoy within minutes. Best of all, I do not have to fiddle around with the capsules as they are stored until the container is full and then I can empty it out when I have free time on my weekends.
